Why Choose Dr. Cousin
Expert Witness Radiology
As your medical expert witness, Dr Cousin provides same-day turnaround and can always be available for conferences and testimony within a 24 hours notice. Working directly with Dr. Cousin, you will also have access to his expert witness network with top-caliber physicians trained at prestigious institutions, as well as other resources.
Honest Radiology Opinions
Dr. Cousin aims to replace the "pay for opinion" experts who tell attorneys and insurance companies what they want to hear, only for them to find out later in the case that they were misinformed. By providing an honest assessment at the onset, you will know the actual merit of a case as well as any potential arguments by the opposing counsel, in order to make a more informed decision on how to proceed with the case.
Over 10,000 cases reviewed
With each case reviewed, the radiologist must perform the evaluation in a situation that simulates the initial reading radiologists practice conditions. Dr. Cousin considers each case as if he were the initial treating physician.
The Standard of Care
Identifying a breach from the Professional Standard is not something that Dr. Cousin does lightly. Determining a deviation from the guidelines of professional responsibilities is based on multiple factors including the available information at the time that the improper decision was made.
The medicolegal system is fraught with "what do you want me to say" experts. Honesty and character are paramount for any expert tasked with the responsibility to make a difference in the pursuit of medicolegal justice. A medicolegal expert is a "noble soldier of justice" and must always act as such
Commitment to Excellence
Dr. Cousin's role is a credible lecturer, demonstrating genuine conviction to clearly convey the imaging findings together with demonstrative evidence that is tangible to the non-medical community. 4D models using the initial imaging data is Dr. Cousin's specialty and is always admissible.
